About Us

James Quinn working in a garden border in Somerset

Hi, I’m James.

Gardening has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Wellington, around family and friends who loved their gardens and took real pride in them, and the garden was where we all ended up. Summer afternoons, family gatherings, time that didn’t need filling with anything else. Some of my fondest memories are in those spaces. A garden is a happy place, a private sanctuary away from the stresses of daily life. It’s where wildlife comes in and where your mood lifts the moment you step outside. Every garden is unique, a slice of nature that belongs to you.

I started Quinn Garden Services to bring that to the area I grew up in, and to all the places around it that hold those memories for me. I know what it means to have an outdoor space you genuinely love. I'd like to help you have one.

How We Work

Every job starts with a visit. Wherever possible we will come and look at the actual garden before quoting. No guessing or presumptions, just a clear understanding of what you need and what it will cost.

On time, every time. You’ll know when we're coming and will tell you if anything changes.

We clean up. Green waste goes with us if required, disposed of properly under my waste carrier licence. You get your garden back, not a pile of clippings.

We work with the garden, not against it. If a job should wait, we'll say so, even when it means I don’t get the work that week. Your garden is our priority.

Insured and Licensed

The business is fully insured with public liability insurance, so you’re covered in the unlikely event something goes wrong while we work on your property.

We are a licensed waste carrier, which means the green waste we generate is disposed of legally. It’s worth checking this with any gardener — if someone can’t produce a licence, your garden waste may be getting fly tipped, and legally that can come back to you as the person who handed it over.
